Mapping Workshop in Delhi, Feb 2012

MOD collaborated with International Honors Programme (IHP) to conduct a mapping workshop in Delhi as part of the ‘Cities in the 21st Century’ study abroad course of IHP.

The first part of the workshop involved mapping four different market places in New Delhi. The method of mapping was utilised to experience, document and initiate discussions about legality/illegality and formality/informality in Indian market places.

Here are the images of the final area maps prepared by the students over two half-day sessions — half a day for exploration and information mapping and half a day for organising the information and developing final maps.
