Weltstadt Exhibition in Berlin
Who creates the city? Who shapes its future? City planning as a highly specialized, centrally organized field is being enhanced, infiltrated or in part superseded by a new and often informal constellation of actors. Weltstadt aims to provide these activists and initiatives with an international platform to support their mutual exchange.
The Weltstadt Rückspiel Exhbition was opened on Friday 02.05. with a vernissage, followed by an international conference the next day. Nextbangalore is one of the ten projects under the Weltstadt roof and the Nextbangalore newspaper is presented within the exhibition.
Also V. Naresh Narasimhan of MOD Institute gave a talk on the middle class in India.
The exhibition is shown at DAZ (German Architecture Center), Köpenicker Straße 48/49, 10179 Berlin and is open until 01.06.2014.
