Workshop on Urban Security, 11 March 2011
MOD organised a day-long workshop on ‘Urban Security’ on Friday, 11th March 2011.
In the workshop, we began by questioning the ongoing framing of ‘urban security’ in terms of ‘hard security issues’ and explore the multiple meanings of ‘security’ in an urban context. We also collectively produced a draft map of in/secure spaces and atmospheres in Bangalore. Please see the workshop invitation brief for further details.
